Long story, but we all have plenty of time right now, so:

I had originally planned to release my next record this spring, it was about 90% complete. It was a bit heavier than my usual stuff, both in style and theme. In early April I tried to continue to work on it as I stayed quarantined in my house, but something about the uncertainty of what was going on outside, combined with the themes of uncertainty and uncomfortableness of the album just didn’t feel right at that moment.

So I felt like I needed something positive to work on, something to make me feel better and something that would maybe make someone listening to it feel better too. I began working instead on the album I had planned for next year, The Cure Pt. 2.

I leave you with it today, available everywhere music is consumed these days. Working on this album provided me with a bit of hope in uncertain times, maybe it’ll do the same for you.
